Unsheltered Count

Location: Various sites across Hennepin County

Time/Commitment: The PIT Count takes place on a quarterly basis, usually on the last Thursday in the months of January, April, July, and October. Shifts are about 1-3 hours long between the hours of 7AM-7PM

Description: Volunteers work alongside Street Outreach staff to administer short surveys to individuals sleeping unsheltered in Hennepin County. Surveys are completed at local shelters, meal drop-in centers, and service centers across the city. These surveys help us better understand the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness so that we can provide the best service possible.
