"Round Up" for Shelter

This March, shoppers have the opportunity to “round up” their bills at Seward Community Co-Op registers to donate to St. Stephen’s Shelter Program. The shelters were selected as a Community Choice Recipient through the Co-Op's SEED Program. Through small transactions from thousands of kind shoppers, the initiative often generates $15,000 or more in donations for each community organization.

Each day, generous volunteer meal groups and St. Stephen's staff prepare and serve meals for nearly 100 guests at our shelters. SEED funds will go towards the cost of providing these healthy meals, including supplementing these meals with additional fresh fruits and vegetables.

Purchases at all three Seward Community Co-Op locations (Franklin Store, Friendship Store, and Creamery Café) from March 1st to March 31st are eligible to round up for St. Stephen’s.
