In order to maintain social distancing and sanitize donations, donation drop-offs MUST be scheduled ahead of time with Amanda at or 612-481-9501. We are still temporarily narrowing our wish list to critical items (updated list can be found here). Items not on this list will not be accepted at this time. Please do not make unscheduled drop-offs with St. Stephen's.
If you would prefer to order items online to be shipped directly to our main office, you can do so on our Amazon wish list. If you have any questions, please contact Amanda.
We are frequently updating our list to reflect changing needs, but you can always find the most up-to-date list of items we are accepting here:
If you have items to donate that are not on our wish list:
- Our friends at Bridging have re-opened, and are currently accepting donations. Please see Bridging's website for information, the list of items they accept, and quality standards. Note: In honor of Memorial Day, Bridging will be closed Saturday, May 23 & Monday, May 25.
- Arc’s Value Village stores remain temporarily closed, but their donation drive-thru's in Bloomington (10AM-6PM), Richfield (10AM-6PM), and New Hope (10AM-4PM) are open with new guidelines. Arc's Value Village is NOT accepting furniture, garage sale leftovers, or full moving vans. Pre-sort and clearly label your donations. Call individual stores ahead of time for further information and check their website for further donation information and updates.
Unsure if you should donate an item? Ask yourself if you would feel comfortable giving it to a friend or family member.
Thank you to the W Minneapolis - The Foshay for donating a car full of hygiene items from our list! Lakshmi is pictured at right with the hotel's recent donation to St. Stephen's.
