St. Stephen's is lucky to have so many people contributing items to our Donation Center, where clients experiencing homelessness, staying at our shelters, or moving into homes can find the items they need. We want to share some important changes we've recently made around the items that we accept, and logistics for donating them:
1) UPDATED LIST - We've optimized the list of items we accept to better align with our clients' greatest needs (and our limited storage capacity). Needs are constantly changing, so please check our updated wish list before your trip in! Find it at www.ststephensmpls.org/donate under "Donate Items." The list visible directly on the webpage is the most up-to-date. You'll see that some items are crossed out here, reflecting that we don't have space to accept more of that item currently. The "Printable Wishlist" contains additional information about our quality standards.
2) UPDATED DROP-OFF HOURS - We now accept donations of listed items from 8:30am-2pm, Monday-Friday, or by appointment.
3) UPDATED DROP-OFF LOCATION - Please bring items to our front entrance (facing Nicollet Avenue) when possible, rather than the alley entrance.
